Basic white tank top, meet lovely ruffled scarf. You are a perfect match and will get along famously!
This sweet spring skirt starts with a basic white cotton tank top that I cut off just below one armpit straight across to the other. I then folded down about 1 1/2 inches of the fabric and sewed a casing for the elastic all the way around, leaving a little opening to insert and thread the fabric through. Finish that off and we are ready for the ruffle!
The ruffled neck scarf meanders it's way around them hem and then up to the waist (front side) at an angle and back down (back side) to the hem at an angle.
I feel like I have gone to Crewcuts by J Crew (or Anthropologie if they sold kids dressy clothes) and gotten a super expensive skirt for Little Miss D for Easter!
Lovely! Love the colors too. Have a great day.
